With this new addition to our portfolio, we visually embody the natural balance with the representation of opposites. On the front, the classic white swan parades its flattering plumage, whereas the back features a unique black swan. No doubt the rare sight of black swans is owed to the fact they are only very seldom found beyond Australia and New Zealand. The natural balance is wonderfully mirrored with this beautiful piece of art.

The Vatican State Mint continues its “Art and Faith” series by dedicating the 20 euro copper coin to Michelangelo’s Creation of Adam. Artist Antonella Napolione reproduces on the coin’s reverse side one of the world’s most celebrated and renowned paintings: The Creation of Adam. This fresco was painted by Michelangelo Buonarroti around 1511 and is part of the vault of the Sistine Chapel. Adam, lying on the ground, turns his gaze toward the Creator by extending his left hand toward Him. God, suspended in a cloud, extends His right hand towards Adam in the act of giving him life.

The Year of the Dragon will commence on 10 February 2024. In Chinese element theory, each zodiac sign is associated with one of the five elements: metal, wood, water, fire and earth and each element appears in a 60 year cycle. 2024 represents the year of the Wood Dragon. It is said people born in this year are passionate, brave and ambitious. They like to be in control and to be the center of attention. This astounding 65mm 1oz pure silver coin features a dynamic image of a dragon in mirror image. The coin is created in proof condition, with the Dragon on one side sculpted proof with a highly polished proof table, the other side with a frosted table and polished Dragon. As with each of the previous issues, only 500 coins will be released. These will be the first coins in this series to feature the effigy of King Charles III

This coin was created in collaboration with an artist whose speciality is portraying animals from below through a pane of glass. This results in exciting shots from an unusual angle. Not only the special view at the cat, but also the detailed minting combined with realistic colouring is impressive. An attractive collector’s item – not only for cat lovers.
