The Mint of the Vatican City State presents the new coin set, composed by 8 coins (2 and 1 Euro, 50, 20, 10, 5, 2, 1 Eurocent), bearing the date 2024. The reverse side is common to all countries, while the obverse shows the coat of arms of Pope Francis, Sovereign of Vatican City State the text “Città del Vaticano” and twelve stars.

To commemorate the Floriade Expo 2022 the Royal Dutch Mint launches a special coincard with two Dutch 20 euro cents and a 2 euro cent from 2022. The Floriade Expo is a world horticultural exhibition that is organised only once every ten years. From the 14th of April until the 19th of October 2022, part of Almere will be transformed into one large blooming garden. Within the theme “Growing Green Cities”, which draws attention to greener cities, more than 400 national and international participants present their latest green inventions.

Acceding to the British throne on 8 September 2022 following the passing of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, His Majesty King Charles III now becomes part of numismatic history as The Royal Mint prepare to unveil the first definitive coins of the monarch’s reign, complete with eight new reverse designs.

The first definitive coins of His Majesty The King’s reign mark a milestone year in UK history. On 6 May 2023, the coronation of King Charles III took place at Westminster Abbey, a national event of celebration that came in the same year as His Majesty’s upcoming 75th birthday. These definitive UK coins feature the official coinage portrait of The King and embody the transition to a new reign and new Carolean era.

As the new definitive coins of the United Kingdom, the reverse designs take inspiration from the UK’s four nations and reflect some of His Majesty’s passions; they have also received The King’s personal approval. Soon, these contemporary designs will be familiar to millions of people in the UK and around the world.

This collection includes the circulating coins issued in 2024, minted with coin blanks and dies specially treated to obtain Brilliant Uncirculated quality.

The coins are presented in a blister pack within an illustrated folder.

The collection includes the 2-euro commemorative coin dedicated this year to Sevilla, continuing the theme started in 2010 for 2-euro commemorative coins to commemorate properties and places included on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
